Molly is an alternative android app for Signal which supports Unified Push. In order to facilitate notifications to be pushed from Signal servers to the Molly app without using Google's notification system, another component called MollySocket must be used. Here are the steps necessary to configure MollySocketː

  1. Configure NextPush on the android device and ensure it is connected to the pub.solar NextCloud account.
  2. Go to Settings > Notifications in the Molly app, change the delivery method to UnifiedPush and scan the QR code shown onː mollysocket.pub.solar
