Making a moderation decision[edit | edit source]
Moderation decisions should be made in consensus with all other moderators. Moderation decisions should preferably be logged, tho we do not have a set place yet where this can happen.
Onboarding a new moderator[edit | edit source]
- Add them to the Moderation channel on Matrix
- Give them moderation rights in all relevant services
- Mastodon
- Matrix (#hakken and #general)
- Write their name on the wiki page
- Announce the change on community channels & mastodon
Offboarding a moderator[edit | edit source]
- Remove their moderation rights in all relevant services
- Mastodon
- Matrix (#hakken and #general)
- Remove them from the Moderation channel on Matrix
- Remove their name from the wiki page
- Announce the change on community channels & mastodon
